Our Approach
Our projects are structured according to the globally recognized principles of management consulting, however, we have a flexible and down-to-earth approach.
In practice, following global principles means
- teams of typically 3-4 consultants are assigned to our projects, made up of a variety of seniority and area of competence;
- we work with the client, what is more, we do so on the client’s premises if possible in order to speed up and simplify the flow of the cooperation
- our projects have a typical duration of 10-12 weeks though assignments of 9 or 18 months have also featured
- our tried-and-tested project management toolkit makes less structured problems and changing circumstances manageable
- throughout our work, we focus on actionable results and their efficient handover to the client.
We consider our approach down-to-earth because
- based on our own work experience, we are capable of taking the assignment to its most practical implementation level, including, for instance, the actual wording of a specific internal regulation
- we speak the same language with our clients, both literally and figuratively: we have natives and fluent speakers of all key languages of the CEE region from English, German or French to Serbian, Romanian or Russian. Moreover, we speak in the same technical terms as our clients from Day One on the project and our intellectual honesty also saves time in terms of direct, no-nonsense communication
- Scale Consulting is able to support its clients also in a close cooperation with other consulting firms or with the ’handover’ of some consultants as resources for several months
It is important to note that our activities now cover 13 countries in Central and Eastern Europe. For regional banking groups, we have repeatedly had the opportunity to adapt and introduce centrally designed new solutions in various local markets.
Last but obviously not least: Scale Consulting offers cost efficient services as our fees are based on local market conditions, and do not include global overhead costs or decades’ worth of brand-building.
